Pattaya to remember Queen Mother at International Fireworks Festival

The fireworks segment, called ‘The Light of Eternal Loyalty’ to be held November 28 and 29 will remember the Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother – who passed on October 24 – with a minute’s silence before the fireworks commence.

There will also be performances of Thai dance drama, titled ‘Khon’ – preserved due to efforts of the late Queen Mother.

Locals and tourists alike are invited to attend with muted colours including traditional Thai attire, with a black ribbon as a mark of respect.

The annual ‘Loy Kratong’ festival will also be celebrated, respectfully, around the same time.
